Questions

Frequently asked questions

No - coaching is not therapy and does not require a referral. While coaching and therapy can complement each other beautifully, they are different. Coaching is future-focused and action-oriented, helping you build skills and strategies. If mental health treatment is needed, I can help connect you with appropriate resources.
Absolutely. A formal diagnosis is not required to access coaching. Many families I work with are in the assessment process, awaiting results, or simply know their child is "differently wired" without a label. My support is based on your child's actual needs and your family's experience - not paperwork.
Sessions are held via video call (Zoom or a similar secure platform). You'll receive a link in your booking confirmation. All you need is a device with a camera and a quiet space where you feel comfortable talking openly.
Life with a higher-needs child is unpredictable - I completely understand. Rescheduling is easy with at least 24 hours notice. Please see the Terms & Conditions for the full cancellation policy.
Not necessarily. Many of my clients work with me individually. However, if both parents or caregivers are involved in the child's life and are open to it, having both present (or at least informed) can amplify results. We can discuss what makes most sense for your family during the discovery call.
Yes! I know that parents are often busy during the day. I offer evening availability and some weekend spots to make coaching as accessible as possible. When you book, you'll be able to see my current availability and choose a time that works for you.
